To foster friendship, goodwill, peace and unity among all Sri Lankans in Massachusetts and neighboring states.
To take steps to sustain the Sri Lankan cultural traditions among the Sri Lankans in U.S. and to promote the Sri Lankan culture.
To promote awareness and interests of Sri Lankan economic and political situation.
To organize social, welfare, and cultural activities for the benefit of Sri Lankans.
To welcome and support the newly arriving Sri Lankans, especially students.
To commemorate events of National importance in Sri Lanka.

Featuring... Santa & A Children's Christmas Pageant, Sri Lankan Dinner and Music by DJ Upul.
To be held Saturday, December 3rd from 7PM to 11PM.

New & Improved SLANE Website Released!

The SLANE website has recently been updated thanks to webmaster, Diliny Corlosquet, and a good push/shove from our President Dilhan Weeraratne. In addition, we have tied in our resident youth group NESLY's website as well as adding pictures from our past events.

It is our hope to list all events being carried out by the Sri Lankan community of New England on our "Events" page so as to encourage as much community spirit as possible. Please forward any additional information/events/etc that would be useful for posting to the community at large via our contact page.

Sri Lanka Day in Acton 2011

Our 3rd Annual Sri Lanka Day in Acton is set for Saturday, 13th August 2011, at Nara Park, Acton, MA (see enclosed map). Come and enjoy Sri Lankan dance and music performances while sampling a selection of Sri Lankan food.
